David McConnochie

David studied Finance and Science at the University of Otago gaining his Bachelor of Commerce. He began his career in the United Kingdom with Lloyds TSB Scotland. Between his time in the UK and New Zealand he has gained over ten years experience in financial markets, and has a broad knowledge of international investment. On his return to New Zealand in 2001, he worked at AMP (in areas covering insurance, investments and banking advice) and Northplan (allowing him to specialise in investment advice for private client portfolios) prior to joining Forsyth Barr in 2008. He is an NZX Associate Advisor and has a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Massey University. David has lived in Tauranga since 2003, and interests include Rotary, Mountain Biking & Tennis.
