Leadership Responsibilities

Each region has a Regional Coordinator who appoints Local Coordinators to facilitate the monthly local After Five meetings and appoints Team Coordinators to run the fortnightly business meetings.

The Business Team Coordinator then forms their own leadership team which is done ever six months and includes a Facilitator and a Time Keeper. The reason for this rotation is so that other members have an opportunity to sharpen their facilitating skills. The Local Coordinators are less structured in their leadership.

The Team Coordinator holds the team file and is the first point of contact for their team. They can assist you in filling out your application form, liaising with the Regional Coordinator and processing your application.

The Team Coordinator represents their team at the quarterly meetings for each region which is chaired by the Regional Coordinator.

The leadership team will approve visitors and guest speakers who are invited to attend.

Issues regarding the credibility of any member will be resolved by the leadership team. If unsuccessful, the Regional Coordinator makes the final decision.

The leadership team has the right to revoke membership should it deem necessary by the Prolink Management.

Should a member be dissatisfied with the leadership team, the Regional Coordinator will resolve the situation.

The Facilitator keeps to the agenda in the business meetings and makes sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute.

The Time Keeper in the business meetings keeps members within the time frame of their one-minute speech with a balance of a professional etiquette and some light-hearted humour.

Leadership team members (i.e. the Team Coordinator, Facilitator and the Time Keeper) are considered senior, or core members. Members should see this as an opportunity to increase both their profile and experience. If you would like to serve your team in this way, speak to your Team Coordinator.
